Tasks and ranked work
One list that says what to do next, and who should do it — you or the tool.
Where tasks come from
- Audit findings — anything worth doing becomes a task.
- Your platform and niche — a starting checklist, filtered against what the live site already does, so you are not told to add a sitemap you already have.
- Playbooks — named bundles for recurring work: a monthly technical sweep, a content refresh, a traffic-drop investigation.
- You — add anything by hand.
Task states
| To do | Outstanding work |
|---|---|
| In progress | Started |
| Done | Finished — appears in the client report as work completed |
| Skipped | Decided against. Stops being offered, and is never shown to the client as a recommendation. |
The ranked list
Morning briefing pulls everything across every client into one ordered list, and says for each item whether it needs you or whether the agent can handle it. Tasks link straight to the tool that does them, so there is no hunting for the right screen.
